About us
Your Norway is an independent portal that reliably explains in Polish how life in Norway works: law, public authorities, work, housing and everyday life.
Who we are
Your Norway was created out of a simple need: thousands of Poles living in Norway search every day for answers to questions that official sites answer too generally, and social media groups too often answer incorrectly. We want to be a place where you will find verified information, explained in clear language.
We are a small, independent editorial team. We know Norway not from guidebooks, but from our own experience: visits to NAV, tax returns with Skatteetaten, rental agreements, disputes with employers and car workshops. We write about what really affects our readers.
What you will find on Twoja Norwegia
News from Norway
Guides and public authorities: NAV, the Tax Administration, UDI and everyday formalities step by step
Start in Norway: a structured path for newcomers
Job listings from across Norway: vacancies from NAV/Arbeidsplassen and jobs posted directly by employers. We are not the employer for NAV listings — we show each one with its source, often in the original language.

Why trust us
We base every text concerning law, taxes or benefits on sources: regulations, public institution pages, rulings and statistical data. We provide sources with articles so that anyone can check them independently. When regulations change, we update the content and mark the date of the last verification.
We combine human stories with hard facts, because behind every paragraph there is someone's concrete situation. You can read more about our principles on the How we work page.
Five languages, one editorial team
We write primarily in Polish, but the portal is also available in English, Norwegian, Russian and Ukrainian. Translations are produced with the help of artificial intelligence tools, and the editorial team is responsible for the content. The source and authoritative version is always the Polish text.
Independence and financing
We are not affiliated with any political party or public institution. We maintain the portal through advertising and paid company listings in our directory. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled and separated from editorial material. You can find details on the Advertising and financing page.
Directory of Polish companies in Norway
We run a company directory in which Polish entrepreneurs in Norway can present their services, and readers can search for professionals in their area. We verify every listing before publication.
Who is behind us
The Your Norway portal is run by the Norwegian organization Wataha Integrasjon Forening, organization number 926 160 346, Mælandsgata 32, 3660 Rjukan (wataha.no) — publisher of the portal and Radio Wataha.
