Sources and verification

We separate fact from opinion, verify information against documents and primary sources, and identify sources with the story. Automated information is labelled as system content and is not attributed to Steve Joobs.

AI and automation

AI tools may assist translation, organisation and drafting. The newsroom remains responsible for publication. AI-generated or AI-edited images are labelled.

Corrections

Material corrections are documented. Readers can use “Report an error” below an article.

Advertising

Advertising and sponsored content are clearly labelled. Commercial funding does not change the editorial standard.
