Order Processor

We are a crane company with 30 employees. We want to have a role where a person at the office enters orders and processes them.

Order Processor – Wilhelmsen Kran AS

Purpose of the position:

Ensure that all customer inquiries and orders are received, registered, planned and followed up from first contact until the job is completed and the basis for invoicing is ready, clear link with entering info into the system to keep things updated.

You do not necessarily need to have worked as an order processor previously. The most important thing for us is that you take responsibility, communicate well and like to make things happen.

• Have good system understanding and learn new systems quickly

• Can handle many tasks simultaneously without losing overview

• Are clear and confident in communication with both customers and colleagues

• Enjoy a busy everyday life where plans can change quickly

• Have an interest in construction, civil engineering, transport, cranes or logistics -- this is an advantage, but not a requirement

Personality is important

We want a person who takes initiative rather than waiting for instructions.

With us the phone can ring, a customer needs a crane, a driver needs information and an order must be changed -- all at the same time. Then we need a person who keeps calm, prioritizes correctly and finds a solution.

If you have experience from construction and civil engineering, transport, logistics, sales, customer service or coordination, it is a big advantage. But the right attitude and work ethic are more important than the right job title on the CV.

We want a person who will help to build and develop Wilhelmsen Kran further.

Work tasks

Work tasks:

Receive phone calls, e-mails and orders from customers

Register and create orders in Business Central

Clarify:

Customer and contact person

Address/location

Date and time

Type of crane/machine

Lifting height, reach and weight

Access and any limitations

Need for escort vehicle, barriers, sign crew or other equipment

Obtain photos, maps, drawings and other necessary information

Send the order on to the correct coordinator

Follow up that the order is staffed and planned

Communicate changes with customer and driver

Check timesheets and order documentation

Ensure that documentation is complete before invoicing

Follow up missing timesheets, additions and deviations

Contribute to upselling of services

Maintain customer contact where necessary.

Important role distribution:

Order Processor:

Customer → order → information → registration → follow-up → invoicing basis.

Coordinator:

Order → right machine/driver → planning → execution.
