Bergen Engines is now looking for someone with solid experience in the mechanical assembly of heavy systems. With us you will become part of a proud industrial history where we produce almost all engine components ourselves. Key responsibilities:

• Pipe work and fitting: Prasktisk work with dimensions from 6 mm to 168 mm.
• Precision assembly: Specialized work with smaller dimensions (8–42 mm) on critical oil, cooling water and pneumatic systems.
• Quality assurance: Pressure testing and documentation of own work.
• Shift arrangement: The position involves 3-shift work.
   

Qualifications we are looking for:

• trade certificate (fagbrev): Industrirørlegger or instrument pipefitter (or solid experience from industry/VVS).
• Competence: Good mechanical understanding and ability to work very accurately.
• Advantage: Experience from shipyard or other heavy industry.
• Language: Norwegian/Nordic, or good spoken English.

Personal qualities:

• Independent, structured and takes ownership of tasks.
• Practical and good collaboration skills.
