Grønnegata 103 is looking for an engaged nurse or social educator (vernepleier) who wants to contribute to good services and increased quality of life for our residents. Who are we?
Grønnegata 103 is a 24-hour staffed housing service for people with mental health and substance use challenges. We provide housing follow-up and health care to 14 residents and are part of the Unit for mental health and substance use.

We have 21 full-time equivalents distributed across different teams, and the staff group consists of employees with varied professional backgrounds. Together we work to provide safe, holistic and individually tailored services. The work is organised in a rota / shift schedule with day, evening and weekend shifts.

Work tasks

  • You will work as a nurse/social educator (vernepleier) with residents who have challenges related to substance use and mental health
  • You shall observe, give advice and perform medication-related tasks and contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration
  • You will have tasks such as medication management, milieu-therapeutic work, motivational interviewing, assistance with daily tasks and activities
  • Follow decided services related to each individual user
  • Collaborate and work closely with other departments in the unit for mental health and substance use, specialist health services, general practitioner, housing office, NAV, the police etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in nursing/social educator (vernepleier)
  • Work experience and/or further education in substance use/mental health is desirable
  • If you qualify for a position requiring specialist education we will offer a position as such
  • Good Norwegian oral and written communication skills. If your mother tongue is not Norwegian, you must document that you have a language level equivalent to B2. Does not apply to applicants with a Scandinavian language as their mother tongue
  • class B driving licence

Other:

  • Appointment is made in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and collective agreements. The position has a salary range of NOK 522.600-614.400 depending on length of seniority. In the event of relevant further education you will receive pay adjustments according to applicable collective agreements
  • Compensation for work outside daytime on weekdays is added
