Treatment and milieu therapy
Fossumkollektivet offers an integrated treatment model that involves simultaneous treatment of various challenges based on the possibilities and potential the young people have. The milieu therapeutic framework represents a central and integrated part of the treatment. Milieu therapy is practiced actively and systematically through a methodical combination of relational treatment and social skills training, where learning is facilitated within a framework of positive therapeutic relationships.

The young people need help to manage their own lives, through good and coordinated services in various arenas such as family, school and network. They need security, stability and predictable boundaries, as well as a meaningful everyday life that contributes to a sense of mastery and development

Milieu
Presence and continuity are ensured through the Foundation's live-in rota / shift schedule where employees live and reside together with the young people. The treatment environment in the department is characterized by a recognitive, respectful and caring atmosphere where Fossumkollektivet's values and ethical guidelines form the basis.
