Are you a trained cook or have good competence in the profession, service-minded, like young people and want to help prepare nutritious food for our students? Then this may be the position for you!

We are looking for an engaged and friendly canteen employee in 83,10 % position. The temporary substitute position lasts until 28.02.27, but there may be opportunities for extension. Start date as soon as possible.

Buskerud upper secondary school is located in Åmot in Modum. The school offers 9 educational programmes, both study-preparatory and vocational educational programmes. In total there are 650 students at the school, and 150 
employees. The school is divided into two teaching locations, dept. Rosthaug and dept. Buskerud. We therefore have two canteens. For students with long travel distances we offer boarding and meals associated with this.

Work tasks

• plan and prepare meals for the canteen (lunch) and the boarding (breakfast, dinner and evening meals)
• daily tasks in the canteen
• customer service and operating the cash register
• other tasks may become relevant
• ensure IK-mat

Qualifications

• A trade certificate (fagbrev) as a cook or equivalent is desirable
• experience from canteen and large-scale kitchens
• good at providing service
• good knowledge of Norwegian, spoken and written
• it is desirable that the person appointed has a class B driving licence (has own car available for driving between the departments)
