The Department of Office Professions is seeking an engaged and structured Health Secretary/Medical Secretary for a varied and active workday at the gastroenterology outpatient clinic

We are looking for someone who is flexible, proactive and thrives in a high-paced environment. You should also have an eye for detail, especially related to coordination of patient logistics/appointment booking.
You will be based at both SUS Våland and SUS Ullandhaug as we operate at both locations. There is a fixed rotation plan. The position has daytime working hours 07.30 - 15.00 and one fixed evening per week (Tuesdays) from 12.30 - 20.00.
Employment as soon as possible by agreement. Interviews will be conducted in week 42, relevant candidates will be invited.
Certificates, diplomas and any other relevant documentation must be attached to the application.

- Registration of medical data

- Assist doctors/nurses in daily operations
Qualifications
- Norwegian authorization as a health secretary, medical secretary or other health professional background.
- Good Norwegian language skills are absolutely essential for safe patient care. Applicants whose mother tongue is other than Norwegian, Swedish or Danish, and who have not completed Norwegian-language upper secondary school, must have at least passed a Norwegian test at B2 level. Documentation must be attached to the application. When hiring an employee already permanently employed in the enterprise, the requirement of a passed Norwegian test at B2 level may, in exceptional cases, be deviated from.
