The Rehabilitation Clinic brings together large parts of specialized rehabilitation in somatics at St. Olavs hospital. The Rehabilitation Clinic has operations at Øya, Lian and Orkdal. The clinic consists of 5 departments that have local, regional and regional functions, with two inpatient departments and extensive outpatient activity. Many of the clinic's employees also work in patient pathways in close collaboration with other departments. In addition to treating patients, the clinic has tasks within learning and mastery, research and innovation.
The social work section provides services to almost all somatic clinics at St. Olavs Hospital. The social work section shall provide patient care of good quality, include user participation and contribute to good cooperation with various partners.
We have a vacant 90% temporary substitute position as a social worker in the Rehabilitation Clinic; the position will currently be located in the Social Work Section
You should expect a shared workplace between the clinic's sections.
Responsibilities
- Information, practical assistance, advice and guidance on social security rights, financial matters, insurances
- Contact mediation with support agencies outside the hospital, both public and private
- Supportive conversations with patients and relatives
- Training and teaching for patients and relatives
- Guidance and teaching on social work matters to partners and other healthcare personnel
- Participate in teams around individual patients
- Student supervision
Qualifications
- Social worker - bachelor's degree in social work
- Experience from relevant social work tasks
- Independence and initiative are emphasized.
- Good oral and written communication skills
