Shipmaster in the Stårheim-Isane service

We are looking for an experienced, confident and solid shipmaster for the Stårheim-Isane service. 

Family-friendly rota / shift schedule with 24-hour shifts. You work 2 weeks on, 1 week off. Then 2 weeks on, 3 weeks off.

Stable and safe operation of the service is crucial for the local community, and you will be an important contributor to that work. You will have a key role as a leader in an engaged team, where you will work solution-oriented and operationally.

Due to the 24-hour shifts, applicants should reside locally, preferably within 1 hour. 

Arbeidsoppgåver

• Safety management
• Energy management
• Responsible for technical and operational safety
• Responsible for personal safety
• Responsible for environmental safety
• The shipmaster is the leader on board
• Other tasks in accordance with the position instruction
• You shall contribute to energy-efficient and safe operation of the vessel through targeted follow-up of SEEMP measures, energy management and optimal use of technical equipment in accordance with ISO 50001.

Kvalifikasjonar

• Minimum D3 certificate
  
• ROC/GMDSS certificate
  
• Safety course in accordance with the qualification regulations
  
• Crisis and passenger handling
  
• Valid medical certificate

• Salary is given according to the agreement between NHO Sjøfart and The Norwegian Officers' Union
