Physician without LIS1

DPS Øvre Romerike is part of the Division of Mental Health Services at Akershus university hospital. DPS Øvre Romerike is centrally located at Jessheim within walking distance to the train station and bus. Our catchment area is 5 municipalities in Upper Romerike, with approx. 100,000 inhabitants. DPS Øvre Romerike consists of 4 outpatient sections and one inpatient section.

The inpatient section provides a voluntary treatment service to patients over 18 years of age with mental disorders. The section has 18 beds.

We work interdisciplinary and use different perspectives and frames of reference in treatment, and have a varied group/activity offering in the section.
We are now seeking a physician in a time-limited temporary substitute position. Suitable candidates will be called in for interview continuously. Employment takes place after the application deadline has expired.

Work tasks

• Carry out patient-directed tasks in accordance with applicable legislation
• Documentation in DIPS/Metavision
• Function as responsible clinician for 4-6 patients in a team together with nurse/milieu therapist

Qualifications

We need you who:

• Have valid Norwegian authorization as a physician
• Have very good written and oral language skills in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.
  

In addition we believe it is an advantage if you:

• Have experience from work within mental health, preferably from an inpatient section in specialist health services
• Personal suitability is particularly emphasized
