Operational role with responsibility for more companies

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on accounting and finance person who wants to take clear responsibility for the ongoing finance function in more companies.

This is a role for you who like to have control of the numbers, enjoy working independently and are motivated by getting order into processes and systems. You will join a company that is well underway with a system change to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and where there is a need for an experienced resource who can contribute both operationally and to further development of the finance function.

We prefer that you are located in Kristiansand/Vennesla area. It is an advantage if you can start quickly. 

A role with responsibility and influence

Initially you will be responsible for the accounting and the ongoing financial follow-up, while relatively quickly you will take over the accounting for a department in Sweden. 

You will have a central role in cleaning up, structuring and establishing good routines that make the finance function more efficient going forward.

Your main tasks will be:

• Responsibility for ongoing accounting and financial follow-up
• Accounting and follow-up of more legal entities
• Reconciliations, accruals and month-end closing
• Clean up and reduce existing backlog
• Follow up intercompany transactions
• Prepare figures and supporting documentation for group reporting
• Contribute to good and effective routines in Business Central
• Take over and further develop accounting processes for new companies
• Contribute to improving work processes, structure and system use
• Be an operational resource who gets things done – from vouchers and reconciliations to completed month-end closings

We are looking for someone who

We believe you have more years of experience from accounting and finance, and that you are professionally confident enough to be able to take independent responsibility for the finance function in more companies.

You do not necessarily need to have had a formal management role. The most important thing is that you are independent, structured and operational, and that you like to take ownership of your tasks.

We would like you to have:

• Solid experience with ongoing accounting
• Good understanding of reconciliations, accruals and month-end closing
• Experience with more companies/legal entities
• Good system and ERP understanding
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and work processes
• Experience with or interest in Business Central
• Preferably experience from trade, distribution or group
• Preferably experience with Swedish accounting
• Good Norwegian and English skills

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a clear advantage, but not an absolute requirement. If you have strong accounting expertise and good ERP understanding, you may be a candidate even if you have not worked with Business Central previously.
