Night nurse 80% - temporary substitute position

We are looking for an engaged and skilled nurse who wants to be part of our competent and multidisciplinary night team.

Løvåsen sykehjem is a long-term nursing home with 128 places. We have places for people with dementia, somatic illness and a special department for people with mental disorders. At the nursing home you will meet a safe and positive professional environment with good structure and good cooperation.
The nursing home aims to provide safe and good care with focus on quality of life and mastery.
We work multidisciplinary and have doctors every weekday. 

The nursing home has its own service team that contributes to better task distribution, so that healthcare personnel get more time for patient-centered work.

The position is a temporary substitute position with a duration of 1 year at night, with work every 3rd weekend, and the possibility of permanent employment.
 
Personal suitability for the position is emphasized.

Løvåsen sykehjem is located in Fyllingsdalen only 10 minutes from Bergen center. There are good bus connections and free parking for employees. 

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a holistic service based on the patient's goals and resources
• Responsible for ensuring that the patient receives necessary medical treatment according to applicable guidelines and procedures
• Guide new employees
• Keep yourself professionally up to date
• Be a good role model and help create a safe and engaging work environment
• Contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration at the workplace
• Actively contribute to development processes
• Nursing responsibility in own and other departments
• On-call responsibility at the nursing home 
  

Qualifications

• The position requires Norwegian authorization as a nurse, approved by NOKUT
• Relevant experience in geriatrics will be an advantage
• Valid work and residence permit
• Foreign-language applicants with education outside the Nordic countries must document a passed B2 test in Norwegian
• Personal suitability will be emphasized, as will flexibility and the ability to work independently
• Be proficient in common computer tools
• Police certificate required
