Fana and Ytrebygda home-based services have four permanent positions available for healthcare workers in 100 % position. Are you a healthcare worker and want to work in a care team? Then you are welcome to apply for a position with us!

As a healthcare worker in the care team you will have an exciting and varied workday, with a lot of responsibility and independence. You will be able to use your full professional competence for the benefit of the patients. The focus is that our patients have a dignified and safe everyday life in their own homes. We also have a continuous focus on a good, diverse and inclusive working environment. You will receive the necessary training and courses, and there is a low threshold for asking for help. There are good opportunities for further education.

Care teams (OT teams) are teams consisting of healthcare workers and assistants who provide comprehensive care and nursing to patients living at home in Fana and Ytrebygda. OT teams have close interdisciplinary cooperation with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, clinical nutritionists, welfare technology agents, general practitioners, relatives and other partners.

The rota / shift schedule is divided into two parts with work during day/evening and weekends. We have the possibility for long shifts every 4th weekend, which results in 20 extra days off per year.

We have vacancies at Nesttunbrekka 97 and Ytrebygdsvegen 215, both within short distance to public transport.


Work tasks

  • Carry out assignments according to the assigned task list
  • Be a primary/secondary contact and perform tasks in accordance with applicable procedures
  • Perform care and nursing tasks for patients living at home 
  • Dispensing of medications
  • Document in accordance with law and regulations
  • Contribute with security and care for our patients and next of kin
  • Responsibility as duty coordinator in the evening and at weekends

Qualifications

  • Must have Norwegian authorization as a healthcare worker/assistant nurse
  • Must complete and pass a medication management course (this is provided by us)
  • A valid police certificate must be presented
  • Good Norwegian language skills, both oral and written (equivalent to minimum level B2)
  • Must have class B driving licence
