About the position and the section

We are looking for someone who is structured and solution-oriented, who enjoys varied tasks and a high pace at times. You work independently, take responsibility and have an eye for details without losing the overview.

As an examination coordinator you will be an important part of the work of planning, coordinating and carrying out exams, both digital and paper-based. You will participate in the entire examination process, from preparation and implementation to follow-up afterwards. The position involves close contact with students, academic staff and colleagues in the administration, and gives you a broad contact surface across the organisation.

The Examination Section is part of the Student Administration Department. We are an engaged and cheerful group of 12 employees who work together to ensure that our students have a good study experience at NHH. We work to develop and improve processes and services related to examination administration. What we have in common is the desire to facilitate good frameworks for our students.

Main tasks will be to

  • plan and coordinate examination administration
  • handle complaints about grades
  • follow up students by e-mail and phone
  • produce diplomas

Other tasks may be added as needed.

Qualification requirements

  • higher education, minimum bachelors degree (relevant real competence may in some cases replace the education requirement)
  • good digital skills
  • good communication skills, both written and oral in Norwegian and English

It is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement:

  • experience from student administrative work, study programmes and examination forms
  • experience with student administrative programmes such as FS and WISEflow/Inspera, as well as case/archive systems such as P360
  • experience from service work or customer service

Personal qualities

To thrive in the position we expect that you

  • like to have order and overview, and work accurately
  • take responsibility for your own tasks and ensure that they are completed
  • work well and systematically under pressure, and master a high pace with tight deadlines
  • keep calm and find good solutions when unexpected situations arise
  • collaborate well with different people, build good relationships and are clear and welcoming

NHH offers

We have an inclusive and supportive working environment that promotes well-being and cooperation. We have a flexible working hours arrangement, good insurance, pension and loan schemes in Statens pensjonskasse, inclusive working life and welfare benefits such as subsidised training and access to a company cabin.

The position is paid as First Consultant in position code 1408 in the salary range NOK 520 000 - 570 000. For particularly qualified candidates higher salary may be considered. Two percent will be deducted from the salary to Statens pensjonskasse.

How to apply for the position

It is not necessary to submit an application letter for this position. Instead, we ask that you attach an up-to-date CV and answer the screening questions you receive at the outset when you apply.

It is important that you clearly describe in your CV:

  • tasks and responsibilities in previous positions
  • what kind of experience is relevant for this position
  • relevant projects and results you have contributed to
  • which systems you have worked with

CVs with general or non-specific descriptions may make it difficult to assess you as an applicant.
