Electrician/automation technician with mechanical interest

KIS Vest avd. Stavanger is now looking for a skilled service technician with experience and interest in electronics, automation or mechanical work, who enjoys solving technical challenges out in the field. Here you plan and manage your own workday and carry out assignments independently, while having skilled colleagues who support and help when needed. The work area will be the Stavanger region.

The tasks include:

• Inspection, maintenance and repair of overhead cranes, hoists and other lifting equipment at industrial customers

• Installation and certification of new and existing installations

• Troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical and automation-related systems

• Work at height, often using a lift

• An active role in ensuring safe and efficient operations at industrial customers

To succeed in the role we believe you have:

• Trade certificate (fagbrev) as an electrician, automation technician, industrial mechanic or equivalent

• Experience from industrial assignments and customer follow-up

• Good skills in Norwegian, written and oral

• Driver's license class B

• Mechanical understanding and interest
