Målselv municipality with approximately 6800 inhabitants is centrally located in Troms county. In addition to the town Bardufoss as a regional centre, Målselv has more vibrant settlements. The municipality has a varied business community and the Armed Forces have a central position.

The nursing home services in Målselv municipality are located at Målselv Health Centre which is located at Andslimoen. In addition to nursing home wards and the institutional kitchen, Målselv Health Centre consists of the physiotherapy and occupational therapy services.

The nursing home service consists of the following departments:

• Mårtind/Alappen: 16 long-term places, where the places are intended for people with dementia disease who need shielding.
• Sollitind/Vassbruna: 20 places, of which 2 places are reserved for ØHD beds, 8 short-term places and 10 long-term places.
• Istind/Mauken: 20 long-term places.
The health centre has weekly supervision from the nursing home doctor and weekly interdisciplinary meetings. We have good collaboration with the physiotherapy service, the medical service, the home nursing service and voluntary organizations.

Department Mauken/Istind now has a vacant 100% nurse position in a temporary substitute position from as soon as possible until 28.02.2027 in a two-part rota / shift schedule with work every third weekend.

We work towards a holistic approach in the unit and that training will be provided in the other departments.

The position has a recruitment supplement of up to 40 000 kr above collective agreement pay.

Responsibilities:

• Daily follow-up of patients
• Nursing professional responsibility for patients
• Quality development of the service
• Responsibility for allocation of resources and tasks, as well as documentation and reporting
• Ensure good interaction with and follow-up of relatives and users
• Follow-up/guidance of students and pupils

Qualification requirements:

• Authorization as a nurse.
• Social educators (vernepleier) may be considered for appointment.
• Good Norwegian language skills, both oral and written. Applicants with a mother tongue other than Norwegian must document a passed Norwegian test B2.
• It is an advantage if the applicant has experience documenting in the patient record system Profil.

• Good knowledge of ICT and documentation, we use Profil as the patient record system

Arrangement for cancellation of student loans:

Terms of employment:

Salary in accordance with agreement. Good pension scheme in accordance with municipal terms of employment, and probation period.

Applicants who are called to interview must submit copies of certificates of employment from previous employers and diplomas/certificates of education.

A police certificate must be submitted for employment in positions that require this according to the Police's purpose overview

Those covered by the Regulation on tuberculosis control § 3-1 cf. § 3-2 must submit a health certificate of recent date before start date.
