At Grønnegata 103 we are now seeking a healthcare worker who wants to help create safe, good and meaningful everyday lives for people with mental health and substance abuse challenges.

Who are we?
Grønnegata 103 is a 24-hour staffed residential service with 14 residents and is part of the Unit for mental health and substance abuse. We offer housing follow-up and healthcare to people who need support to manage everyday life and reach their own goals.
With us you will become part of a warm and committed work community with staff who have different professional backgrounds and experience. Together we work to create safe frameworks, good relationships and services adapted to each individual's needs.
We focus on recovery, mastery and user participation, and believe that the best solutions are found together with our residents. Therefore we are looking for employees who are open, reflective and who want to contribute with their experiences and perspectives.

Work tasks

  • You will work with residents who have challenges related to substance abuse and mental health
  • Tasks such as medication management, milieu-therapeutic work, motivational conversations and assistance with daily tasks
  • We perform decision-based services with a focus on support conversations, substance use management, motivation, practical assistance and daily help in the home
  • We also work closely with, among others, clinicians in specialist health services, the Housing Office, Nav, the Administrative Office and other departments in the unit

Qualifications

  • Completed education as a helsefagarbeider
  • Work experience within substance abuse/mental health is desirable
  • Good oral and written expression is required. For foreign applicants, a passed language test B2 is required
  • class B driving licence

  • Appointment is made in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and collective agreements

  • Upon employment a valid police certificate in accordance with the Health and Care Services Act §5-4 must be presented
  • Upon employment a tuberculosis examination is required for applicants who during the last three years have stayed continuously for more than three months in countries with a high incidence of tuberculosis in accordance with the Tuberculosis Regulations § 3.1 and 3.2.
