Are you passionate about people, leadership and great guest experiences? Do you enjoy responsibility, a fast pace and the feeling of creating results together with others?

We are now looking for an engaged Coffee Shop Manager who will lead their own coffee shop and build a team that both thrives and performs!

About the role

As Coffee Shop Manager at Espresso House you will have full responsibility for the operation of your own coffee shop. You will be the heart of our concept, creating the framework for wellbeing, quality and great guest experiences, while leading your team in line with our values.

You are a visible, engaged leader who builds team spirit and leads by example. Together with your team you will work behind the bar, meet guests with a smile and ensure that quality and service are always top-notch. The role combines leadership, operations and customer service – perfect for those who like to take responsibility, motivate others and create an environment where both people and results can grow.

These will be some of your key areas of responsibility:

  • Lead and develop the team: Motivate, follow up and develop your employees, while building a safe, inclusive and engaging work environment.

  • Personnel responsibility: Responsible for, among other things, recruitment, onboarding, employee follow-up, competency development and staffing.

  • Operations and results: Follow up sales, budget, staffing, shrinkage and cost of goods, and work actively to create good results.

  • Quality and guest experience: Ensure high quality of products, service and cleanliness, and create great experiences for every single guest.

  • Operational leadership: Be visible in operations, support the team when the pace increases and lead by example.

As Coffee Shop Manager / General Manager you report to Operations Manager.

Who are we looking for now?

We are looking for someone who likes to bring people along, takes ownership and enjoys having many balls in the air. You do not need to be a coffee expert beforehand. We will teach you that. The most important thing is that you want to lead people and create good results through your team.

We also imagine that you:

  • Have experience from management or operations within the service industry, hospitality or retail, and love to see others succeed.

  • Are an engaging and inspiring leader who is skilled in communication and follow-up.

  • Works structured, takes responsibility and handles challenges in a confident and solution-oriented manner.

  • Thrive in a high pace and have high work capacity when the coffee shop is busy.

  • Are hungry for results and have a good financial understanding of numbers and profitability.

  • Can work full-time in a rota / shift schedule adapted to the department's opening hours (days, evenings and weekends).

What do you get with us?

  • A 100% leadership position with great responsibility and the opportunity to influence your own Coffee Shop.

  • Thorough training and leadership development through Espresso House Academy and continuous competence enhancement.

  • The opportunity to “run your own coffee shop” – with a safe and professional support system behind you.

  • Valuable experience in leadership, service, operations and finance in the Nordics' leading and fastest growing coffee shop chain.

  • A dynamic and inclusive environment with a strong community.

  • Competitive salary by agreement, staff discount and staff meal scheme.

We want our branches to be places where both guests and employees feel seen, welcome and included - and as Coffee Shop Manager you play a central role in creating exactly this.

Ready to take the next step as a leader? We look forward to hearing from you! ⭐
