Then you may be the doctor we are looking for. We are seeking a consultant/soon-to-be specialist.

We are looking for a new employee who is professionally engaged and who can contribute to the further development process at Nidelv DPS. With us you get the opportunity to work with a wide range of different issues, develop good broad competence, but at the same time the opportunity to specialise competence within methodological approaches. Nidelv DPS has good specialist coverage, and a very good working environment.

With us you will become part of a large professional environment with committed employees. Our general outpatient clinic is multidisciplinary, with consultants, specialist psychologists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse, psychomotor physiotherapist and a work specialist.

Nidelv DPS has operations located both at Tiller and Orkanger.

Nidelv DPS, Tiller has Melhus and half of Trondheim kommune as its primary catchment area. The operation consists of general outpatient clinics, Early Clarification Team, group outpatient clinic, outpatient clinic for young adults (18-25 years) and a specialised outpatient clinic for treatment of severe eating disorders. Nidelv DPS also has a regional function for hearing and mental disorders located in an outpatient clinic at Tiller and a psychiatric response team that serves the catchment area for both Orkdal and Tiller.

NIDELV DPS, TILLER HAS A VACANT 100% PERMANENT POSITION IN THE GENERAL OUTPATIENT CLINIC FOR A CONSULTANT - START DATE TO BE AGREED.


Work tasks

  • Assessment and treatment of patients with a wide range of mental disorders.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration in teams within the outpatient clinic is emphasised, as well as between units in the DPS.
  • Good contact and cooperation with general practitioners, NAV and primary health services is emphasised.
  • Professional development through team participation, supervision and teaching.
  • Teaching of students must be expected.

Qualifications

  • Specialist in psychiatry or another relevant specialty and/or almost finished specialist.
  • Desirable with broad clinical experience from mental health care.
  • Assessment competence.
  • It is required that applicants master Norwegian well both orally and in writing.
