Caffè Italiano is seeking weekend and on-call employees for Thon Senter Ski

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible and service-minded, and who enjoys customer contact and a fast pace.

For this role it is important that you are reliable, arrive on time and can be available when needed. You should enjoy varied tasks and be comfortable contributing both at the front, in the kitchen and with practical tasks during the shift.

We would like you to:

Experience from café, restaurant, sales or customer service is an advantage. Experience as a barista or with pizza, pizza dough and kitchen work is a big plus, but not a requirement if you have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Work tasks

As a weekend and on-call employee at Caffè Italiano you will become an important part of the team, especially during busy periods, weekends and when needed.

The work tasks will include:

• Welcoming customers and contributing to good customer experiences

• Sales, upselling and operation of the cash register

• Preparation and serving of coffee and other hot and cold drinks

• Preparation and baking of pizza

• Assisting with production and preparation of pizza dough

• Preparation of focaccia, salads and other food products

• Serving gelato

• Preparing and restocking goods

• Clearing tables, dishwashing and cleaning

• Cleaning the kitchen, café, counter, machines and work areas

• Following routines for hygiene and food safety

• Contributing where the need is greatest and helping colleagues during busy periods

• Participating in opening and closing after training

We are looking for someone who is flexible, takes initiative and enjoys contributing in more areas during the same shift.
