Do you have experience with media production in various genres? Are you focused on communication and can you use various production-technical tools for film, photo, audio and web?

Åssiden Upper Secondary School has a vacant 50 % permanent position as an instructor within the field of content production. We are looking for someone who wants to follow up students in VG3 content production towards the trade test. Relevant candidates will be invited to interview on an ongoing basis. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

Åssiden Upper Secondary School has approx. 2000 students distributed across 9 study programmes as well as upper secondary education for adults. We are more than 300 committed colleagues who share the common goal of providing education so that all students look forward to going to school every day.

Tasks

  • follow-up of students in the content production subject
  • collaboration with external partners and development of networks in the industry
  • cross-disciplinary collaboration with other departments and study programmes at the school
  • develop relevant and practice-oriented training through various assignments internally and externally

Qualifications

  • industry experience and/or relevant education from the field of media and communication
  • experience with the use of technical equipment in studio and on location 
  • good competence in the use of digital work tools such as Adobe programs
  • preferably teaching experience and/or pedagogical education, but this is not a formal requirement
