Espira Ulvenvatnet is looking for a kindergarten teacher who wants more than a job. We are looking for someone who wants to help shape practice, influence the everyday life of children – and contribute actively in a professional environment that is constantly developing.
For us, pedagogical work is not something that “runs by itself”. It requires curiosity, presence and a willingness to make a difference – every day. With us you get the opportunity to work in an environment where play, learning and development are at the centre, together with engaged colleagues who cheer for each other and share knowledge.
We now have a vacant permanent 100% position as kindergarten teacher. Start as soon as possible or by agreement.
About us:
Espira Ulvenvatnet is located in beautiful surroundings at the end of Industrivegen in Os, with short distance to forest, Ulvenvatnet, school and sports facilities. We have access to varied natural areas right outside the door, and a local community that provides good frameworks for play, exploration and experiences throughout the year. We also have a collaboration with Os fotball, which gives the children good opportunities for play, activity and fellowship.
With us you will meet warm, present adults who see the children, listen and create room for both small and large victories. The staff group consists of employees with solid competence and a great commitment to each child. We collaborate closely, share knowledge and use each other's strengths to create an inclusive environment. As a kindergarten teacher with us you will combine professional development with a working day close to nature, together with colleagues who are passionate about children's well-being and development.
Espira has three focus areas: language, science subjects and movement. With us you really get the opportunity to use these actively in the pedagogical work. The children romp around on a large and varied outdoor area with play equipment, bikes, both flat and hilly areas, as well as a sledding hill that is one of the winter's big favourites. In the pedagogical work we use Espira BLIKK, which helps us to be conscious adults who monitor the children's well-being, development and needs. Join us in giving children a fantastic start in life!
Who are we looking for?
We are concerned with reflecting the diversity in society and ways of being human - we need everyone! We believe in educators who participate in play, who are curious together with the children and who know that the small moments are often the biggest.
To thrive in the role, we imagine that you are:
- A secure and clear adult who enjoys taking responsibility in everyday life
- Engaged and active, both in play, learning and collaboration
- Solution-oriented and flexible when the situation requires it
- Someone who wants to contribute to a good working environment
- Curious about children's perspectives
- Relationship-oriented and focused on building good relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Are you newly graduated – or finishing your education soon? Then we would like to hear from you. With us we do not expect you to know everything from day one. You will receive close follow-up, professional guidance and support from experienced colleagues who want you to succeed and feel safe in the role.
About the role:
As a kindergarten teacher with us you have a central role in the pedagogical work and in the further development of the kindergarten's quality. - Contribute to a good working environment and collaboration in the department
