Do you have experience from child welfare work and want new challenges, then this position may be for you!
The child welfare service in Hemnes is organised under Upbringing and Family and consists of a manager, an administrative employee and four contact persons. We are a team whose goal is to give our families the right help at the right time. In the child welfare service we work closely together, and are rarely alone on cases. We work actively to strengthen the competence in the service.
We now have a temporary substitute position available in the period 15.10.26 – 15.11.27
Arbeidsoppgaver
- Casework according to the Child Welfare Act including follow-up of children, young people and their families
- Investigation according to the Child Welfare Act, child welfare professional mapping, and assessment work
- Implementation and follow-up of supportive measures according to the Child Welfare Act
- Follow-up of children under care
- Party representative in cases for the child welfare and health tribunal
- Participate in the service's development work to establish an open and accessible child welfare service and contribute to competence development
- We work according to the generalist model
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor as child welfare teacher or social worker/social work, or other relevant 3-year college/university education
- Experience from child welfare service is desirable
- Driver's licence for passenger car
- Good command of Norwegian, both oral and written

Upon employment, an approved police certificate not older than 3 months is required.
