Embark on a journey through film, music and photography! The 13th edition of Polish Film Days invites you to discover Polish culture in Norway — with Japan, India and Morocco on the horizon.
On the weekend of October 10–11 we meet at Fredrikstad Kino. The festival is a meeting place open to everyone, and screenings and events take place in two languages: Polish and Norwegian.
The program of this year's edition includes:
• Screenings of the films "The Maids of Wilko", "Sentimental Value", "The Boy at the Edge of the World" and "Chopin, Chopin!".
• Meetings with Joanna Murzydło — a traveler and author — and Monika Grobelna, an expert in practical emotional intelligence.
• Music in the foyer: Trio+, Magdalena Tutka and Szymon Wojnarowicz, and Masovian Mantra — Michał Barański and Shachar Elnatan.
• Photographic exhibition "Frame from a Journey", dedicated to the memory of Aleksander Doba.
• Family workshops "My Journey into the World of Film".
• Conversations with the Women's Village – Women's Community.
• Scenography by Monika Feherpataky in the cinema foyer.
Admission to all events in Fredrikstad is free. Tickets can be picked up from October 2 at the Fredrikstad Kino box office or reserved on the cinema's website.
